"Photo-transfer" deals with the concept of disaster and destruction and its aftermath through the works of Hanita Ilan and Mahmood Kaiss, where the themes of apocalypse, history and humanity are explored. Hanita Ilan's work involves monochromatic sheets with shades of pink, orange and brown, pierced by silver objects, while Mahmood Kaiss's sculptures are made from parts of disassembled cars. The two artists approach the theme of apocalypse in different ways, with Ilan treating her work as "digested scrolls" and Kaiss transforming the car components into refined sculptures. The exhibition creates a visual discourse, encouraging the viewer to consider the relationship between historical destruction and mundane ephemerality.
